Job summary

Robert Hurst Limited in the UK is seeking an experienced Working Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical works on water utility projects. The role combines hands-on installation with on-site supervision, ensuring works meet drawings, standards and programme.

You will supervise electricians and labour, read schematics, manage RAMS and safety, and liaise with site management and client to deliver first-time quality on time.

Qualifications

• Experience as Working Electrical Supervisor on industrial sites.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience supervising electricians and labour on site; RAMS and safe work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical works on site.
• Lead a team of electricians and electrical labour.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure works meet programme.
• Remain hands-on with installation works.
• Install and terminate electrical cabling.
• Install containment and related equipment.
• Work with LV systems and motors/pumps.
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Carry out testing, inspection and fault finding.
• Monitor quality and ensure adherence to drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with site management, project management and client.
• Ensure RAMS and site procedures are followed.
• Support electrical works coordination with other trades.
• Identify issues affecting programme, quality or safety.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
