Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to cover the South East. You will work across a range of commercial sites performing routine water hygiene services and more specialist testing and analysis, including closed systems and cooling towers.

The role offers a varied workload with opportunities to develop technical expertise and record-keeping accuracy, plus a benefits package and a company van for site mobility.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Water Hygiene
• Experience with closed systems
• Experience with cooling tower testing and analysis
• Good knowledge of water hygiene procedures and ACOP L8
• Experience with temperature monitoring, sampling and flushing
• Strong attention to detail and accurate electronic record keeping
• Full UK driving licence

Water Treatment Technician

Location: South East
Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 plus company van, fuel card, credit card, phone, uniform, PPE, tools, pension and 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join a growing team covering the South East.

This is a great opportunity for a Water Hygiene professional who enjoys a varied role and wants to develop their experience across water hygiene, closed systems and cooling towers.

You’ll be working across a range of commercial sites, carrying out routine water hygiene services alongside more specialist testing and analysis.

The Role

• Water temperature testing in accordance with ACOP L8
• Flushing of water systems
• Accurate electronic record keeping
• Showerhead cleaning and disinfection
• TMV servicing
• Water sampling
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Tank cleaning
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
• Cooling tower testing and analysis
• Swimming pool sampling
• Closed system sampling, testing and analysis

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Water Hygiene industry
• Proven experience working with closed systems
• Experience in cooling tower testing and analysis
• Good knowledge of water hygiene procedures and ACOP L8
• Experience with temperature monitoring, sampling and flushing
• Strong attention to detail and accurate electronic record keeping
• A full UK driving licence
