Job summary

SER Limited in the South Coast region is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to cover sites across the region. You will work on routine monitoring, sampling, and closed system work, with a focus on practical water treatment tasks on customer sites.

The role is field-based, involves driving between sites, and includes a company vehicle and benefits. You should have at least 2 years in water hygiene, strong record keeping and customer-service skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Water Hygiene industry.
• Previous experience carrying out closed system sampling and analysis.
• Good knowledge of water hygiene practices and procedures.
• Ability to complete electronic records accurately.
• Professional approach when working on customer sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Flushing of water systems.

Water Hygiene Technician

Location: South Coast

Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 + company vehicle, fuel card, credit card, phone, overtime, pension and 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Opportunity

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Service Technician to join a growing water hygiene team covering the South Coast region.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Water Hygiene professional who enjoys working out on the road, visiting a variety of commercial sites and getting involved in a broad range of water hygiene and water treatment activities.

No two days are the same, with the role covering everything from routine monitoring and sampling through to closed system work and cooling tower cleans and disinfections.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Service Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out water temperature testing in line with ACOP L8 requirements
