Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £45k + Training & Benefits

A leading name within the Water Treatment industry is seeking a professional and switched-on Water Treatment Service Chemist to cover contracts in Yorkshire. Candidates must be able to competently use a test kit on site and will have proven testing and analytical experience. The role will also involve direct sales opportunities and account management, therefore, it is essential for applicants to hold a proven track record of overseeing Cooling Tower, Steam Boiler, Closed System and Water Treatment accounts. For easier coverage, candidates would benefit from access to the M62 and / or the M1. They are offering attractive salaries and benefits packages for the successful candidate.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Successful record working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist
- Excellent technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 compliance standards
- Ideally will hold a degree relating to science / chemistry / environmental sectors
- Strong client-facing experience
- Robust communication skills
- IT literate
- Good written ability

The Role:
- Undertaking routine sampling and analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers
- Closed system analysis & dosing
- Chemical dosing
- Managing key client accounts, acting as a key point of contact
- Providing strong technical advice to clients
- Upselling of company services
- Identifying new client / business leads
- Completing regular service reports
- Adhering to strict KPIs
- Fostering strong working relationships with new and existing clients
