Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer to join its UK service team, delivering water hygiene compliance and closed system treatment across commercial and industrial sites. You will play a key role in testing, sampling, inspections, and remediation to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a competitive £32,000–£36,000 salary, a company vehicle, overtime, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene and closed system treatment.
• Strong understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently on-site.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Closed system testing, monitoring, and remediation.
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Tank inspections, cleaning, and chlorination of water storage systems.
• TMV testing, servicing, and disinfection works.
• Calorifier pasteurisation and system analysis.
• Spa balance tank cleans and showerhead descaling.
• Chlorine dioxide dosing equipment installation and servicing.
• Pre-commission cleaning and flushing activities.
• Ensuring full compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Completing accurate site reports and documentation.
