About the Client:

Our client is a privately owned outfit offering a full range of ACOP L8 and water treatment services, including remedial work and legionella risk assessment. The role focuses on recruiting new clients while nurturing existing accounts to grow company revenues.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Successful track record as a Water Treatment Account Manager / Service Chemist
  • Degree in Environmental or Science fields would be beneficial
  • Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Fully competent in cooling tower, closed systems and steam boiler systems
  • Excellent sales experience and proven success
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
  • Oversee the active growth of a portfolio of water treatment client accounts across the northern region
  • Devising thorough sales plans and implementing them
  • Actively contact potential new clients to promote company services
  • Use a variety of methods to attract new clients
  • Produce thorough sales tenders and present directly to clients
  • Foster strong relationships with clients
  • Upgrade and renew existing client accounts
  • Upsell services to existing clients
  • Attend client sites to scope for new projects and identify requirements
  • Ensure works are completed to agreed scope and timescales
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Use a test kit to conduct analysis and testing on closed systems, cooling towers and steam boilers
  • Produce regular reports
