Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £35k - £55k + Commission, Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Water Treatment Account Manager to oversee key client account expansion in the North West of England. You will be joining a respected and successful company, who have a national presence and busy client portfolio.

You will be responsible for the retention of existing contracts and active growth of new business revenue, utilising your sales acumen to on-board and upsell directly to clients. Applicants must have proven experience within the industry and a successful track record of fostering professional relationships with prospective clients, to ultimately win new business.

Ideally, you will be located in: Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Stockport, Manchester, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Altrincham, Leigh, Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Warrington, Runcorn, Prescot, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Formby, Southport, Lytham, Macclesfield, Burnley, Colne, Accrington, Blackburn, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Excellent sales success record within the Water Treatment industry
  • Strong technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Robust experience and knowledge of Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers and Closed Systems
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to articulate technical matters directly to clients
  • Good time management skills

  • IT literate
The Role:
  • Overseeing the daily management of key Water Treatment client accounts, including: Cooling Tower, Closed System and Steam Boiler services
  • Meeting with prospective clients to sell company services
  • Attending client sites to scope for required works
  • Producing competitive and site-specific tenders
  • Ensuring works run to agreed deadlines and budgets
  • Utilising sales techniques to on-board new clients and grow existing accounts
  • Regenerating and upgrading existing client accounts
  • Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and giving ongoing support
  • Devising and implementing sales plans
  • Meeting with directors to discuss company sales performance
  • Travelling in line with client requirements
