Job description

Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing water treatment accounts to ensure exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and outstanding financial and operational performance. If you're passionate about compliance, thrive on delivering results, and are ready to play a key role in a dynamic team-this could be your next big opportunity, This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll report directly to the Regional Account Manager and oversee a diverse portfolio of client contracts. This role blends account management, operational oversight, and technical water treatment knowledge to ensure KPI targets are consistently met or exceeded.,

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Promote a full suite of water compliance services and solutions.
  • Oversee contract delivery, ensuring all service elements meet agreed KPIs.
  • Conduct on-site water treatment testing and deliver technical solutions to clients.
  • Attend review meetings, respond to client queries, and oversee remedial works as needed.
  • Prepare tailored proposals and tender submissions.
  • Lead financial and operational oversight including monthly reporting and cost control.
  • Issue site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Provide leadership support to Account Supervisors-approving measures, managing issues, and training staff.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and sub-contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Manage onboarding for new site staff, including second-stage interviews.
  • Conduct Legionella Compliance Reviews and ensure contract compliance documentation is complete.
  • Authorise leave, manage team resourcing, and address performance concerns appropriately.

  • Commercial acumen: Able to upsell chemicals and water treatment equipment, and grow a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Excellent communication: Build lasting client relationships, resolve issues professionally, and lead by example.
  • Operational focus: Capable of delivering high standards of contract management and ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.
  • Team leadership: Support Account Supervisors and Engineers, guiding technical decision-making and performance management.
