You'll report directly to the Regional Account Manager and oversee a diverse portfolio of client contracts. This role blends account management, operational oversight, and technical water treatment knowledge to ensure KPI targets are consistently met or exceeded.,
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Promote a full suite of water compliance services and solutions.
- Oversee contract delivery, ensuring all service elements meet agreed KPIs.
- Conduct on-site water treatment testing and deliver technical solutions to clients.
- Attend review meetings, respond to client queries, and oversee remedial works as needed.
- Prepare tailored proposals and tender submissions.
- Lead financial and operational oversight including monthly reporting and cost control.
- Issue site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Provide leadership support to Account Supervisors-approving measures, managing issues, and training staff.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and sub-contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Manage onboarding for new site staff, including second-stage interviews.
- Conduct Legionella Compliance Reviews and ensure contract compliance documentation is complete.
- Authorise leave, manage team resourcing, and address performance concerns appropriately.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager who demonstrates: - Strong technical skills: Confident in carrying out steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system water analysis.
- Commercial acumen: Able to upsell chemicals and water treatment equipment, and grow a portfolio of client accounts.
- Excellent communication: Build lasting client relationships, resolve issues professionally, and lead by example.
- Operational focus: Capable of delivering high standards of contract management and ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.
- Team leadership: Support Account Supervisors and Engineers, guiding technical decision-making and performance management.
