Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Account Manager for a Cambridge-based role. You will service cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems, whilst applying knowledge of HSG274, BS2486, BG50 and BS8552.

Expect to manage key accounts, visit sites, sample water, and provide technical advice with strong client relationships. The role offers a £45,000 base salary plus commission, a company vehicle or car allowance, private healthcare, a pension and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water treatment industry, servicing cooling towers, boilers and closed systems.
• Strong knowledge of HSG274, BS2486, BG50 and BS8552.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
• Build relationships with clients, site personnel and consultants.
• Carry out site visits, service visits and water sampling.
• Deal with microbiological results and recommendations.
• Prepare renewal quotations and costs for additional works.
• Identify opportunities to sell relevant services.
• Provide technical advice and day-to-day administration.
• Work closely with the Area Manager to deliver excellent customer service.

The successful candidate must have strong experience servicing cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems, alongside a very good understanding of HSG274, BS2486, BG50 and BS8552.
