Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Water Technician in Greater London to join a civil and environmental engineering consultancy. You will work on drainage, flood alleviation, and sustainable water management projects, covering SuDS and traditional drainage from feasibility through to construction.

• Civil or environmental engineering degree required.
• Strong CAD skills and software proficiency.
• Experience with drainage, water or flood projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design small-scale SuDS schemes.
• Support larger flood alleviation projects.
• Work on public and private sector projects.
• Support projects from feasibility to construction.
• Develop hydraulic models.
• Produce civil engineering design packages.
• Prepare and review technical drawings.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support design and approval processes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers.
• Mentor junior team members.
