Join Our Team as a Water Hygiene Technician!

Our client, a leading organisation in the Water Hygiene industry, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Water Hygiene Technician to join their dynamic team!

What You'll Do:
  • Inspections & Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of water systems, monitoring temperatures and checking flow rates to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintenance: Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs), descale showerheads and hoses, and perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks.
  • Water Sampling: Collect samples for testing, particularly in closed systems, to guarantee water quality.
  • Chlorination: Carry out disinfection works, including chlorination of water systems, following established guidelines.
  • Legionella Risk Assessment: Apply Legionella prevention guidelines to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and service reports, analysing daily data for continuous improvement.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their systems meet compliance standards.
What You Bring:
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with plumbing, servicing, and using hand and power tools.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: A knack for identifying potential issues and proactively finding effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities for engaging with both clients and colleagues.
  • Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines for Legionella prevention.
  • IT Proficiency: Familiarity with CAFM or PDA systems for managing tasks and data efficiently.
