Job summary

Mitie Group plc. invites applications for a Mobile Water Technician in Crawley and surrounding sites. You will support Legionella compliance and water hygiene services across client locations, performing sampling, monitoring, and basic plumbing tasks to keep systems safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or related field.
• Understanding of water hygiene practices and L8 guidance.
• Experience maintaining water systems; advanced knowledge desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing Legionella maintenance PPMs, including sampling, chemical testing, remedial cleaning and minor plumbing works
• Carrying out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintaining customer water log books and ensuring accurate completion of all documentation in line with guidelines and company policy
• Carrying out water system cleaning and disinfections, including TMV servicing and basic plumbing works
• Performing cooling tower cleans, weekly checks, chemical dosing, and on-site testing of heating and chilled systems
