Job summary

Scottish Water in Broadford/Portree is looking for a Tankering Team member to provide septic tank services and sludge removal across Scotland. You will operate rigid and articulated tankers, ensure safety compliance and service quality, and act as an ambassador for Scottish Water.

You’ll bring a CPC card and Cat C license, along with strong communication skills to plan and prioritise work while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid CPC card.
• Valid Cat C driving license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide private septic tank service to domestic and commercial customers.
• Operate in Scotland using rigid and articulated tankers to remove sludge from Wastewater and septic tanks.
• Ensure work complies with Health & Safety regs and Scottish Water policies.
• Liaise with fleet regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing and MOTs.
• Optimise tanker usage and act as an ambassador for Scottish Water.
