Job summary

HomeServe is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to service customers in their homes, carrying out repairs and maintenance on water supply systems. This field-based role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver first-class service in customers' homes.

You’ll diagnose leaks on water mains, lay and replace pipework, and manage jobs end-to-end with professionalism. A full UK driving licence and a proactive mindset are essential.

Join HomeServe as a Water Supply Pipe Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our customers' homes running smoothly.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £33,220 - £37,810 (depending on experience) + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year

Hours: You will average 40 hours per week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer, you’ll work in customer's homes carrying out repairs and maintenance on water supply systems.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains
• Laying and replacing pipework
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers' homes with professionalism and care

This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, giving you variety and autonomy in your work.

Training & support

We’ll set you up for success from day one with a structured onboarding programme:

• Week 1: Classroom-based induction Monday to Friday at our Walsall Head Office
• Week 2: On-the-job training alongside an experienced HomeServe WSP Engineer

(Where required, we will pay for your accommodation and meal allowance for your induction).
