Job description

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Water Softener Service Engineer to join their busy team. The work involves servicing water softeners and water treatment equipment, as well as upgrades on existing equipment, parts and services. Necessary training will be provided.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and is interested to grow within the company.

This is a full-time permanent employment position with a generous bonus scheme

Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position, but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Role:

  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of water softeners and related products at customers' locations
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Managing inventory of parts and ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Achieving high first-time fix rates through effective troubleshooting
  • Managing your daily schedule and workload
  • Completing service reports and documentation accurately
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring it adheres to company policies
  • Collaborating effectively with team members while also working independently
  • Changing filters when needed, delivering Salt when required.


Skills Required:

  • A working knowledge of Plumbing systems.
  • Plumbing, Mechanical or electrical engineering background
  • Good Communication skills
  • Well presented, this is a customer facing role
  • Fault finding/analytical skills
  • Full clean driving licence

Education:
Not looking for formal qualifications necessarily however the candidate
must be bright and quick to learn.
