Job summary

United Living Group in Leeds is seeking a Site Supervisor to join the United Infrastructure team on Yorkshire Water lead renewal projects. You will oversee site activities, ensure safety and quality, manage daily supervision, and work with clients to meet programme requirements.

The role focuses on maintaining high standards of workmanship, coordinating resources, and supporting planning and client liaison to deliver successful contracts across the water sector.

Qualifications

• NRSWA (Supervisors) qualification required.
• Water safety passports required.
• Supervisory Management training preferred.
• IOSH/SMSTS certification preferred.
• Extensive water sector experience essential.
• Full UK driving license essential.

Responsibilities

• Safety: maintain site standards, support risk assessments and inspections.
• Production: supervise day-to-day activities and keep to programme.
• Quality: ensure workmanship standards and complete quality records.
• Communication: coordinate with planning, client representatives and health & safety teams.
• Problem solving / troubleshooting on site.

Purpose

To be responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of numerous Yorkshire Water Lead Renewal Contracts.

The individual will have responsibility for site supervision, ensuring the clients requirements are met whilst working in line with the company health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Management Of Construction Activities

• Safety. Ensuring site standards maintained, assisting risk assessment, accident investigation, site instructions and inspections.
• Production. Working to programme.
• Quality. Ensuring standards of workmanship maintained. Ensure completion of quality records, continuity of process-capability
• Problem solving / trouble shooting

Control of Costs

• Manpower
• Materials
• Plant and vehicles
• Damages and thefts

Liaison with Health & Safety Manager

• Working together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results
• Dealing with improvement notices
• Liaison with Water Operatives
• Working together to ensure safety, quality and environmental standard are achieved
• Dealing with actions from technical audits
• Development / maintenance of competency levels

Liaison with Planning Manager
