Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of water sector projects in the North West, based in Manchester or Warrington with hybrid working. You will drive planning, delivery, risk management and client engagement to ensure projects meet scope, schedule and budget.

You will work with internal teams and external partners, demonstrating chartered status and PM qualifications while mentoring team members and promoting innovation.

Qualifications

• Water industry experience with project management and commercial management essential.
• CC or Chartered Engineer qualification expected (CEng or similar).
• APM PMQ or equivalent project management credential preferred.
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Track record of proactive risk management and mitigation.
• Experience leading and mentoring project teams in management of scope and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of a diverse water sector project portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources to meet financial and operational targets.
• Provide regular updates and documentation to internal and external audiences.
