Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Water sector Project Manager to lead on the Essex and Suffolk framework from Chelmsford with hybrid working options. You will oversee design, construction, commissioning and handover to ensure the project meets the specification, schedule and tender estimates while maintaining health and safety standards and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, excellent communication with clients and stakeholders,

Qualifications

• PM experience on multi-disciplinary water design and build projects.
• Degree in construction, commercial, or engineering discipline.
• PMQ or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Delivery-driven with ability to motivate multi-disciplinary teams to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
• Experience in project delivery and governance reviews.
• Knowledge of NEC/IChemE contracts, capable of negotiation.
• CDM and Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Chartered with engineering/commercial/construction body.
• NEC PM Accreditation.

Responsabilités

• Lead on Essex and Suffolk framework delivering on design, construction, commissioning to meet spec, time and budget.
• Promote safety and quality standards across direct and subcontracted workforce.
• Maintain client relationships and company reputation with JV partners and suppliers.
• Ensure adequate trained personnel and clear roles.
• Plan projects, approve PEP, monitor delivery and control execution.
• Prepare and approve detailed construction plans and method statements.
• Ensure records per PEP are complete at completion.
• Manage commercial aspects with forecasts and estimates.
• Engage in CPD and external networking to stay updated.
• Represent department professionally in internal/external contacts.
