Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Sampling Scheduler to plan and coordinate its water sampling programme. The role will operate scheduling systems to ensure 100% regulatory and business compliance, with hybrid work and some office time in Huntingdon.

You’ll collaborate with Sampling Managers to optimise workflow, cover absences, and deliver an efficient service while meeting deadlines and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and coordinating sampling programmes.
• Ability to communicate with managers, samplers and operations teams.
• Strong organisational skills to meet regulatory timelines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sample scheduling and maintain technical understanding of methods.
• Ensure samples are scheduled to meet planned and ad-hoc needs.
• Maintain coverage for sickness, absence and vehicle issues.
• Coordinate with Sampling Managers to plan weekly leave and rotas.
• Support timely, accurate and efficient sampling service.
