Water Sampling Field Technician

£29,000 ( pro rata for 3 month contract ) + company vehicle

Are you on the look out for a varied, interesting 3 month role that will involve travelling to different sites in the South of the country to collect water samples and deliver them to laboratories for testing? We are currently recruiting for a Water Sampling Field Technician for a new 3 month water sampling contract for an industry leader in Swansea. This role will involve using a company vehicle to travel to different sites around the South of the country to collect water samples and deliver them back to a state of the art laboratory in Swansea.

As Water Sampling Field Technician you will:

• Use a company vehicle to travel to various sites and collect water samples
• Follow strict water sampling protocols and accurately label / record data ( full training provided )
• Work safely and be self motivated to work alone and meet deadlines
• Have the ability to use handheld instruments such as a PH Meter, thermometer and turbidity monitor ( full training provided )
• Be able to use attention to detail when maintaining accurate logs and digital records

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
• Minimum age 25 - for insurance coverage on a company vehicle
• DBS Check - All candidates must successfully complete a DBS check to gain access to secure sites. A clear DBS is a mandatory requirement for this role.
