Job summary

Anglian Water is recruiting a Water Recycling Process Operator (Works Technician Process Controller) in Bedford to operate and maintain our assets, including tanks, pumps and meters, ensuring safe, compliant and energy-efficient process operation. The role offers a starting salary of £31,756 with progression, standby allowances, occasional weekend overtime and a company van for business use.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining assets including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters, compressors and more.
• Performing preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance such as lubrication on the systems above.
• Carrying out process sampling to ensure things are operating as they should be and escalating any issues.
• Complying with company safety policy and procedures as well as maintaining good housekeeping.
• Exploring and ensuring that we maintain the lowest possible energy demands without compromising compliance.
