Job summary

Alpha Scientific, part of Genuit Group's Climate Management Solutions, is seeking a Chemistry Analyst to support the operation of the lab focused on Commercial Water Testing Services. The role is on-site in Slough, with standard hours Monday to Friday.

You will process water samples, read results, and ensure strict adherence to procedures and quality data, while maintaining clear records and contributing to UKAS accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers.
• Able to work well in a team with an open, approachable character.
• A good eye for detail and understanding of business processes.
• Adopt a methodical approach to work with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience of working within a laboratory environment is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Process water samples and read results.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and in a timely manner.
• Receive samples from customers and process in a timely manner.
• Adhere to documented procedures for all aspects of laboratory work and update LIMS accordingly.
• Maintain records and quality data, and keep paperwork in order.
