Due to an exciting new programme which is going to see us deliver for our customers a full mains renewal across the UK over the next few years we are now on a significant recruitment drive to scale our teams to deliver this fantastic work.

We are looking for a Water Quality Assurance Specialists who will work closely with Standards & Compliance Specialists.
The purpose of this role is to provide professional process and technical advice, monitor and analyse water quality performance, develop measures to address current and future risks, and deliver quality improvement projects for the mains renewal programme.
This role has regional responsibility for managing water quality compliance and customer acceptability through proactive and reactive management across the mains renewal function.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of the operational water quality processes required to maintain our excellent distribution system. They should be capable of ensuring all mains renewal projects meet the water quality standards and comply with the regulatory requirements. This role is essential in safeguarding the quality of our water supply.
The ability to prioritise and balance a reactive workload with challenging turnaround times is essential, as are strong analytical skills to identify underlying causes from significant amounts of data. Excellent communication skills are required to convey technical water quality issues to various stakeholders, along with influencing and negotiating skills to ensure the delivery of key activities.
