Job Purpose
To oversee and manage a team of water quality analysts (WQA). WQA are responsible for handling customer enquiries with regards to water quality and for arranging the initial response to all water quality infringements.
To monitor and manage resources, processes and procedures to attain maximum efficiency while working with the public health team to ensure appropriate water quality information is provided to customers in a timely manner and to ensure any issues and improvements are both resolved and implemented. The role holder would also provide support to the public health team including, following appropriate training, being a member of the on call rota.
