Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking a Planner within the IMRDS Alliance to manage and optimise both scheduled and unplanned work across water projects. You will create day-to-day schedules, collaborate with multiple teams and ensure optimal resource usage to meet service delivery targets.

You will monitor performance, balance workloads and coordinate with Supervisors to reduce downtime, while ensuring planning processes and regulatory requirements are met. A dynamic, team-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a planning or scheduling role within utilities, construction, or similar industries.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in scheduling tools and Gantt management systems.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to ensure operational success.
• Clear communicator, able to share complex information with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise work schedules, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational capacity.
• Monitor and analyse performance data, adjusting plans as necessary to meet performance targets.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure tasks are prioritised and resources are effectively allocated.
• Manage and reduce downtime through efficient Gantt management and proactive coordination with Supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with planning processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Co-ordinating, monitoring and responding (where appropriate) to customer generated enquiries in-line with our customer KPI's.
