Job summary

Anglian Water in Lincoln is seeking a Planner within the IMRDS Alliance to manage and optimise both scheduled and unplanned work across water projects. You will create day-to-day schedules, collaborate with multiple teams, and ensure optimal resource usage to support service delivery and risk management.

This full-time role requires planning experience in utilities or similar, strong IT scheduling skills, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a planning or scheduling role within utilities, construction, or similar industries.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in scheduling tools and Gantt management systems.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to ensure operational success.
• Clear communicator, able to share complex information with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise work schedules, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational capacity.
• Monitor and analyse performance data, adjusting plans as necessary to meet performance targets.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure tasks are prioritized and resources are effectively allocated.
• Manage and reduce downtime through efficient Gantt management and proactive coordination with Supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with planning processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate, monitor and respond to customer enquiries in line with KPIs.
