Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within UK frameworks, based in a regional office with a flexible hybrid work model. You will drive project delivery, governance, and best practices across multiple small to medium water schemes.

You will manage project teams, engage with clients, and ensure successful delivery from concept to handover, applying NEC4 contracts and strong risk management throughout.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering subject (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical).
• Experience delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills (e.g., NEC4).
• Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer Status or APM registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide input/support on continuous improvement to project delivery procedures.
• Drive consistent PM practices aligned with AECOM PM requirements and PDS.
• Oversee one or more Project Managers and support as needed.
• Project manage more complex projects depending on region and requirements.
