Job summary

YTL UK is recruiting a Production Technician for our Durleigh site. You will operate, maintain and optimise our water production processes to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water while minimising environmental impact.

role includes planned maintenance, reactive work, and occasional out-of-hours standby. Full training will be provided, including an NVQ in water treatment; a company van is provided for business use.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and data interpretation to support water quality decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication of technical information.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm, focused approach to high-pressure situations.
• Proficient use of MS Office for reporting and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and optimise water production sites to ensure reliable supply of drinking water and minimise environmental impact.
• Carry out planned maintenance to meet compliance expectations and respond to site shutdowns/water quality issues.
• Work in a 24/7 environment with some out-of-hours standby and weekend work.
