Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Water Service Delivery are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
The Water Asset Planning Team is responsible for managing risk and shaping capital investment across raw water collection, storage, transmission, and treatment. This role plays a key part in ensuring Yorkshire Water invests in the right assets to deliver the required quantity and quality of water. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will help define investment strategies and meet regulatory requirements. With a strong focus on future planning, the role will support the development of strategy in AMP 8 and prepare for delivery in AMP 9, including tracking and reporting scheme progress to regulators and setting clear objectives for the future.
This is a strategic role that will contribute to long-term resilience in water delivery by developing policies and strategies for water treatment and transmission that align with Yorkshire Water's business goals. Particular focus will be given to drinking water quality and the integration of DPC and SRO schemes into existing operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments and with other water companies to ensure that future investments support both operational needs and regulatory expectations, while maintaining a forward-looking approach to water quality, quantity, and sustainability.
