Job description

We are currently seeking a Process Controller to join our Guildford area operations team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and sociable team of professionals committed to delivering millions of litres of water to customers across Berkshire & Buckinghamshire.

Details
  • Base Location: Shalford - Guildford - GU4 8BW.
  • Working pattern: 38 hours, Monday - Friday, 07:30 am - 15:36 pm, plus standby rota with additional payments.
  • Requirements: Full, clean UK driving licence.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a key member of the operations team, delivering high standards at our Water Treatment Works and Reservoirs. Reporting to the Production Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Completing scheduled work on plant and equipment following company standards to enhance resilience.
  • Responding to reactive issues to maintain operational output and water supply.
  • Supporting large-scale planned work at our sites with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting apprentice training as needed.
  • Promoting a safe working environment.
  • Participating in out-of-hours standby work on a rotational basis.
  • Learning to operate and optimize processes and equipment to ensure water quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Health and safety knowledge.
