Job summary

Gearing Recruitment Solutions are representing an established organisation in the water industry to recruit a Process Delivery Manager. You will lead process delivery and technical governance across major water and wastewater projects, defining commissioning strategies and ensuring integration of requirements from design through to handover.

Required is a minimum of 5 years' experience in process commissioning or design management, a relevant engineering qualification (BEng/HNC/HND), and CSCS

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification such as BEng, HNC or HND.
• 5+ years' experience within Process Commissioning, Process Engineering or Design Management.
• Strong technical understanding of process engineering within the water and wastewater sector.
• Experience with process commissioning, sampling and process analysis.
• Understanding of process design deliverables including Mass Balances, PFDs, process schedules and Process Control Philosophies.
• Experience working with client teams, process subcontractors, suppliers and wider project disciplines.
• Strong understanding of project programmes, planning and commissioning requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a programme-driven environment.
• CSCS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead process delivery and technical governance across major water and wastewater projects.
• Develop and manage process commissioning strategies, plans and methodologies.
• Develop operating plans, optimisation strategies and performance testing requirements.
• Ensure process commissioning requirements are incorporated throughout the design phase.
• Develop Partial Build test plans and monitor progress through to Detailed Design.
• Plan process commissioning activities, including temporary works and resource requirements.
• Provide technical input into process solutions, optioneering and OPEX calculations.
• Review and contribute to Mass Balances, PFDs, process design schedules and Process Control Philosophies.
• Support the development of process equipment requirements and standard design approaches.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and asset standard deviations.
• Develop Start-Up and Operating Methodologies from a process perspective.
• Support temporary works planning, including over-pumping, temporary connections and valves.
• Liaise with client operational teams, process teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support process commissioning, sampling deployment and existing treatment works considerations.
• Produce programmes, progress reports and support defect management throughout delivery.
• Contribute to commissioning activities and site call-out requirements as required.
