Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Agent/Site Manager to support a major clean water infrastructure project in Hampshire, delivering a large-diameter pipeline between Winchester and Southampton. You will manage day-to-day site delivery, supervise supervisors, subcontractors and site teams, and ensure labour, plant and materials are coordinated to meet programme. Essential UK water sector experience and safety leadership are required. Umbrella PAYE contracts offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading site teams in major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to deliver works safely, to programme and to required quality.
• Knowledge of RAMS and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of pipeline and civil works.
• Supervise Supervisors, site teams and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and resources.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify delays.
• Coordinate Temporary Works requirements.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
• Use project management tools (4Projects, FieldView).
• Liaise with client and project team.
• Identify site changes to maintain safety and delivery.
• Support short-term planning and programme management.
