They generally work within the South-East from their base in London Borough of Havering, but travel and works are undertaken to other parts of the UK.

They provide reliable, professional, around-the-clock support services for dealing with all categories of water damage and mould contamination issues.

About the role

The key duties of the Water / Mould Damage Technician include:

  1. Emergency and routine attendance to properties damaged by flooding and mould growth.
  2. Training provided to prepare scopes of work, conduct relevant tests, plan remediation, estimate costs, report writing, complete inventories, and monitor recovery processes.
  3. Writing detailed, accurate reports and cost appraisals to update and inform clients when necessary.
  4. Liaising with various stakeholders at all levels.

About you

To succeed in this role, ideally you will have:

  • GCSE English & Math at grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience or background in construction, industrial cleaning, or damage management.
  • Ideally 3 A-Levels at grade B or above, or a relevant degree in mycology, science, or engineering.
  • A full UK manual driving licence.

Hours & rewards

The working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm daily, with possible earlier start or later finish based on customer needs. The role may require being 'on call' during weekends, nights, or bank holidays for which enhanced rates apply. Travel within the UK and overnight stays may be necessary occasionally.
