Job description

Job Title: Night Shift Water Leak Technician

Arcus FM is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Water Leak Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves reactive and proactive water leak solutions on refrigeration equipment and pipework across client stores in South West London & Surrey.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: £33,147 (including shift allowance of £3,595)
• Van (with optional personal use from day 1) and fuel card
• Up to 4% discretionary bonus based on targets
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

You will be part of a friendly, supportive, and innovative team committed to continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive and proactive work safely and to high standards, focusing on refrigeration condensate pipework
• Identify water leak sources, repair or replace faulty pipework or components, and clear blockages
• Maintain internal drainage systems, drop-down pipework, and dairy pump trays as needed
• Diagnose faults and failures, providing effective solutions and escalation when necessary
• Ensure timely completion of jobs within SLA, meet KPIs, and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Follow client site requirements and plan routes to manage daily workload efficiently

Requirements:

• Experience in water leak or drainage works is advantageous
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Basic electrical knowledge (desired but not essential)
• Trade or industry certifications (desired but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Additional Factors:

• Ability to work nights and flexibility for Sunday shifts
• Sunday - Thursday, 45 hours per week
• On-call rota (1-4 or 1-8) depending on busy periods
