Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is recruiting a Site Engineer to support a water pipeline scheme across the United Kingdom. You will undertake setting out and surveying, ensure works follow drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans, and relevant safety requirements.

The role involves regular collaboration with site management, construction teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. A valid Thames Water passport is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil or water infrastructure projects.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Valid Thames Water passport, CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS, and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete setting out and surveying activities per drawings and specs.
• Prepare and support ITPs, RAMS and risk assessments.
• Carry out QA/QC checks and close out non-conformances.
• Ensure work meets design requirements and project specs.
• Promote health and safety procedures and escalate hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements and inspections.
• Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Identify issues early and communicate actions clearly.
