Job summary

United Living is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver critical water-sector infrastructure projects from design through to commissioning. The role involves working closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure compliance and efficient execution across water-related works.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the water sector, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The position also includes additional health and wellbeing support and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the water sector (clean water, wastewater, pumping stations, networks, or treatment works).
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with major water utilities or Tier 1 contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end project lifecycle including feasibility, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents for compliance.
  • Conduct site surveys, assessments, and technical investigations.

Education

Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering
