Mott MacDonald Bentley, a key Asset Delivery Partner for Scottish Water, seeks an experienced Planner to drive project programmes across Scotland. You will develop detailed schedules for water and wastewater upgrades, coordinate with design, construction and commercial teams, and ensure milestones are met with accurate reporting.

The role requires Primavera P6 and MS Project proficiency, a degree in construction management or civil engineering, and a willingness to travel to sites.

Qualificações

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in large-scale projects within the water sector.
• Proven experience in programme planning within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with NEC, JCT or other standard forms of contract.
• Competency in Primavera P6 and interest in 4D planning.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies and industry standards.
• Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent).
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your region.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed construction programmes using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and update regularly
• Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with operational, design and commercial staff and subcontractors to align programmes with site and design progress
• Produce progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and clients
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project milestones
• Support tender planning and bid submissions with realistic programme schedules
• Maintain accurate records of programme changes and justifications
• Involvement with collaborative planning
