Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Rainham, United Kingdom, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to deliver a full engineering service to customers across the Water Industry. This is an exciting, diverse role offering a long-term career in a growing engineering environment.

You will perform planned and reactive work including installation/removal of mechanical equipment, motors, pumps, gearboxes, valves and fans, plus pipe fitting and lifting tasks. Training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• A strong work ethic.
• Time served apprenticeship preferred

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of mechanical equipment across the water industry.
• Disconnection and installation of motors.
• Removal and replacement of mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, screens, filters, valves, bearings, alignments and fans.
• Pipe fitting and metal work where required.
• Slinging and lifting.
• Confined Space and Working from Height.
• Learn new skills and develop through continuous training and career progression opportunities.
