Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a well-established client in Dorset to recruit a Field Service Engineer with a water industry background. You will carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on wastewater treatment plants, pumps, pump stations and air compressors, with door-to-door pay and substantial overtime.

The role requires fault finding, attending breakdowns, commissioning new equipment and completing digital job sheets.

Qualifications

• Background in the water industry or similar.
• Experience as a field service engineer or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel/combe Dorset area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on wastewater treatment plants, pumps, pump stations and air compressors.
• Attend reactive breakdowns, fault find, repair and commission new systems, refurbish existing equipment.
• Complete digital job sheets, record work and parts used, work independently or as part of a team.
• 45 hour week, Monday to Friday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
