Job description

Water Hygiene Technician/ Lab Technician

1 or 2 days per week, for 3-4 months contract,

6 hours per day.

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Water Hygiene Technician.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. You'll be responsible for assisting in the monitoring, cleaning, and maintenance of water systems to comply with current water hygiene regulations.
  2. Conduct water sampling and temperature checks across various sites.
  3. Clean and disinfect water systems, tanks, and cooling towers.
  4. Assist with inspections and risk assessments for Legionella control.
  5. Keep accurate records of inspections, test results, and services provided.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients and respond to any inquiries.
  7. CWST Clean & disinfections.
  8. CWST Inspections.

Location

Contract Duration
I envisage 1, maybe 2 full days per week for at least 3-4 months and if successful, hopefully ongoing.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Experience of working in the water industry.
  2. Experience of dealing with customers.
  3. Knowledge of health and safety standards.
  4. Any of the following tickets; Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, CSCS.
