Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment is seeking a field-based professional to cover the Denbigh area, delivering water safety and treatment services at customer sites. You will inspect and clean storage vessels, lead tank chlorinations, and install thermostatic mixing valves while monitoring performance per regulatory guidelines.

The role uses SimPRO for workload management and requires a full UK driving licence and Legionella awareness training or equivalent industry experience.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Denbigh area.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect and service water systems and storage vessels, including tank chlorinations.
• Install and service thermostatic mixing valves and conduct routine monitoring per HSG 274 Part 2.
• Use SimPRO to manage workloads and keep accurate records; ensure compliance with HSE ACoP L8 and HSG274.

Contract: Permanent and Full-Time, 40 hpw Monday to Friday (no evenings, no weekends, no on‑call)

OTE £35-37k+ (including basic salary + 2k sign on bonus + 10% bonus + overtime)

What you'll be doing

As a key part of our team, you'll travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region. Your day will involve essential tasks like inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels (including leading on tank chlorinations), installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves, and conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2. This means you'll be flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing crucial sampling for closed water systems.

You’ll also expertly use our SimPRO system to manage your workload. Your ability to spot problems and proactively find solutions, combined with your detailed knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274, will be vital in maintaining our professional and compliant reputation.

You’ll need a full, clean UK driving licence and have City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent or suitable industry experience to succeed in this role.
