Job summary

Tyler Mason Consultants is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to join the team in the South East region (London/ Kent). The role involves carrying out Legionella control tasks including temperature monitoring, disinfection, sampling and TMV servicing, with a focus on compliance and customer service on-site.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of water hygiene experience, a clean driving licence, and a clear DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella control tasks including temperature monitoring, disinfection, sampling and TMV servicing.
• Help prevent Legionella growth by managing deadlegs and flushing as required.
• Perform showerhead descaling and lime scale removal; inspect cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Address onsite compliance issues and participate in risk assessments as needed.
• Communicate findings effectively and document activities in CRM.

Water Hygiene Technician - South East

London Central and Kent

The Role of a Legionella Water Hygiene Technician / Engineer is to carry out all the below areas of Legionella control.

• Water Temperature Monitoring Control Schemes
• Disinfection (Hot and Cold Systems)
• Water Sampling
• TMV Servicing and fail-safe checks
• Legionella Bacteria growth prevention: Managing small deadlegs, expansion vessel flushing, and calorifier blow-downs
• Showerhead descale and disinfections
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Calorifier Checks
• Also problem solve and look for solutions on site for any Compliance issues,
• Training as a Risk assessor.

A minimum of one year's experience in Water Hygiene is required and to either possess the relevant required qualifications for the role or pass those courses if the company needs to put you through them.

The Water Hygiene Technician must have the following:

• Be computer literate with excellent experience of Word, Excel, Internet and Email. Must be good at working with live databases/CRM.
