Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking a Water Hygiene Plumber to deliver planned plumbing and servicing works across our properties in the United Kingdom. You will work to ACOP L8, HSG 274 and related guidelines to ensure safety and Legionella control, with full training provided.

You will typically work Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, with potential overtime and some weekend work as required. A full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Technical Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Understanding of Water Regulations and related standards.
• Experience with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned plumbing and maintenance remedial works to hot and cold water systems across our customer properties, including water storage tanks refurbishment, hot water cylinder replacements, hot and cold pipework alterations, cleaning & disinfections.
• Work in accordance with Water Regulations and in line with the HSG274 & ACoP L8 as instructed.
• Identify deviations and make recommendations for corrective action.
• Act as liaison between client and head office
• Ensure that on site records are maintained in line with the scope of works.
