Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to join our Midlands team. You will carry out water hygiene monitoring, Legionella compliance, and site surveys across the Midlands with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays when required.

The role requires NVQ L2 Plumbing or equivalent, a clean UK driving licence, and a solid understanding of current legislation and procedures. Competitive salary and benefits apply, including pension, vehicle and fuel card, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene and Legionella compliance.
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out water hygiene monitoring and compliance checks.
• Undertaking Legionella remedial works, including asset descaling and chlorination.
• Completing compliance tasks in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274.
• Conducting site surveys using handheld technology and ensuring all records and photographs are completed accurately.
• Providing technical advice to clients where required.
• Travelling across the Midlands and occasionally nationwide, with overnight stays required when necessary.
