Job Description: Water Hygiene Operative

Severn Trent Services, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group, specializes in legionella control and water treatment services. We are recruiting for a Water Hygiene Operative to join our team supporting the Barnsley area.

Role Overview

As a Water Hygiene Operative, you will provide high-quality customer service while ensuring health & safety compliance. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Managing multi-site visits across various locations.
2. Monitoring and performing tasks in line with ACoP L8 standards when required.
3. Supporting customers and colleagues with technical guidance.
4. Conducting hazard and risk assessments at each site.
5. Maintaining safety standards in the field.

This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week), starting from home, with travel across your designated region using a company van. A valid Full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with TMV servicing.
• Knowledge of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Proficiency with computers and smartphones.
