SMS Environmental Ltd is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join our team serving Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance and water hygiene tasks across customer sites, with full training provided to develop your skills.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm schedule with paid overtime and a base salary up to £40,000 per annum. You will work on site, ensuring safe and compliant water systems and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene or a similar technical environment.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training to develop skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on water systems.
• Complete routine flushing and water sampling.
• Take and record water temperatures.
• Carry out routine checks on water systems.
• Identify and report issues, defects or non-compliances.
• Record completed work using company systems.
• Maintain professional conduct on customer sites and uphold client relationships.
• Follow health and safety procedures and water hygiene standards (ACOP L8 / HSG274).
• Support wider team with water hygiene and Legionella control activities.
