Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer for on-site work across Gravesend and surrounding areas. The role focuses on pre-planned compliance duties, including showerhead descales, TMV servicing, and tank cleans, with testing, reporting and site log maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have ACOP L8/HSG 274 knowledge, experience with PDA reporting, and the ability to work independently on customer sites. The position offers training and benefits, with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Water Hygiene Engineer
• ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Experience using a PDA to complete reports
• Able to work independently on site
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude

Responsibilities

• Showerhead descales
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Flushing of little-used outlets
• Acid descales
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Updating site logbooks and producing regular service reports
• Working to agreed project timescales
• Maintaining high levels of customer service
