Job summary

Primary Water Solutions is seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to join our Field Team in Reading. You will perform routine PPM tasks on commercial and domestic sites and ensure compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274.

You will monitor temperatures, carry out shower disinfections, TMV servicing, and cold water tank cleaning, while maintaining accurate paperwork and reporting. A full UK driving licence and a customer-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced in water hygiene / legionella control (essential)
• Good understanding of PPM schedules and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Professional, customer-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
• Shower disinfections and descaling
• TMV servicing, testing, and maintenance
• Cold water storage tank cleaning and inspections
• Accurate completion of site paperwork and compliance report
• Working in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and company procedures
