Job description

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary: 25k - 34k DOE, Company Vehicle + Benefits

Independent Water Hygiene company are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their longstanding team of engineers. The role would suit those with experience undertaking Legionella compliance and PPM duties to hot and cold domestic water systems. The successful candidate will be contacts across the Staffordshire / West Midlands. On top of a competitive basic salary, the client can offer good overtime / travel time rates and further training.

Applications will be considered from locations such as; Walsall, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Wednesbury, Lichfield, Fradley, Stafford, West Bromwich, Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Birmingham and the surrounding area.

Experience:
- Able to demonstrate experience carrying out L8 monitoring tasks.
- Good understanding of ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Confident in the use of computers and PDA devices.
- Professional and friendly personality.

Duties:
- Temperature monitoring on Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
- Water sampling.
- Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
- Carrying out works on calorifiers including inspections, flushing and temperature monitoring.
- Disinfections and chlorinations.
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
- TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
- CWST inspections.
- Representing the company in a professional manner on site and to clients.
