Job description

At Zeta Compliance Services, we don’t hire you based on your job title. Titles can be misleading and rarely tell the full story of your skills and experience. Instead, we’re on the lookout for exceptional individuals who can demonstrate their expertise in the areas outlined below. You don’t need to tick every box; if you can confidently discuss some of the experience we’re after, then we’d love to hear from you. We won’t overlook talent just because your career path doesn’t follow a traditional trajectory.

What sets us apart is our commitment to seeing beyond your CV. We invest in people who are ready to grow with us and want to be part of a company that genuinely values their potential. Many organisations talk about growth, but we’ve already achieved significant milestones; we’d be thrilled to share our journey with you. Let’s start the conversation.

The role we’re hiring for is a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team based in Reading. This role involves working alongside a team of water hygiene engineers, providing water testing, maintenance, and compliance services across various sites, including hospitals, schools, production facilities, and hotels.

What you receive for joining us:

We’re looking to offer a salary starting at GBP29,000 to GBP32,000 per annum. In addition, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to do your job well. You’ll get a company vehicle (which you can also use personally, within reason), along with all the essentials - uniform, PPE, a company phone, fuel card, and any tools required to do the role.

On top of that, you’ll enjoy 20 days of annual leave increasing to 30 with service plus bank holidays.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct water temperature testing, flushing, and sampling to ensure water systems remain safe, efficient, and compliant across various client sites.
  • Assist in the cleaning and disinfection of showerheads, tanks, and pipework, following hygiene protocols to maintain high water quality standards.
  • Perform TMV servicing, inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with water hygiene requirements.
  • Travel extensively across London and surrounding areas, working alongside a team to deliver high-quality water hygiene services while adhering to safety guidelines.

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

  • Previous experience in water hygiene engineering, with a good understanding of water safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Hardworking, eager to learn new skills, and open to career progression within the water hygiene industry.
  • Full UK driving license with a willingness to work long days, travelling extensively inside and around the M25 and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

Do you see yourself reflected in the description above? If so, we encourage you to submit your application today. Uncertain whether your skills align perfectly? Don't hesitate to apply regardless; we value candidates with diverse skill sets and will carefully consider all applicants.
